Account deletion
This page explains how MaDoYo users can request account deletion at https://madoyo.app/account-deletion/. The in-app deletion entry remains the preferred path because it can verify the signed-in account immediately.
How to delete your account
- Android: open MaDoYo, go to 我的 / Mine, then choose 删除账号 / Delete Account.
- iOS: open MaDoYo, go to Mine, then choose Delete Account.
- H5 or mini program: sign in, open Mine or Developer Feedback, and submit an account deletion request.
- If you cannot sign in, email lclaughs@foxmail.com with your Google email, WeChat account clues, or other account proof.
What is deleted or deactivated
- Profile fields, contact-card fields, push tokens, favorites, blocks, and active sessions are removed or invalidated.
- Public posts, comments, service applications, and student verification records are removed, hidden, rejected, or anonymized according to moderation and legal retention rules.
- Private verification images are marked for removal from private storage according to the MaDoYo privacy policy.
- Safety, abuse-prevention, audit, and legal records may be retained only as needed to protect users and comply with law.
Processing time
In-app deletion is submitted immediately. Manual requests are reviewed after account ownership is verified. We normally complete eligible deletion requests within 30 days.
